Morinocha Honpo is in Kotomachi Street of Enshu Okuni Shrine which is famous for match-making and warding off bad luck. It is the main shop of “Suzuki Chojyu Shoten”, the founder of Japanese tea in Enshu Mori-machi which is originally known as shop name of “Yamachou”. The shop was founded in the early years of Meiji. It is the wholesale shop with the history of over one hundred years and achieved an overwhelming popularity in Tokyo market that putting Yamachou’s tea chests in the shop was considered to be high standard. Right now, they value delicious tea for tasting and courteous customer service with the sole purpose of introducing delicious tea to those who came to the shrine.
