It is Nanaya that is famous for the strongest and richest matcha gelato in the world. Though I recommend that you visit Fujieda shop where attached to a homemade sweets factory if you visit Shizuoka to eat it, if you don’t have time and passion to do, I recommend Nanaya Shizuoka shop where is 10 minutes on foot from Sizuoka station. Hojicha, roasted Japanese green tea, and Wakocha, Japanese black tea, are also world-class, not to mention a seven levelled matcha gelato!! That’s a directly-managed shop of a tea wholesale store where established in 1907. Let’s eat Nanaya’s gelato, sitting on benches of a park in front of the shop and seeing a shop curtain printed a discharge printing logo ’ななや’, this shop’s icon, and the hi-class feel takes your breath away. That’s exactly blissful moment.
