野口英世が青春時代を過ごしたエリア、観光スポット野口英世青春記念館のすぐ近く。「椅子をどうぞ」「お荷物どうぞ」「お茶をどうぞ」というスタンスで、旅の途中で一息つけるお茶屋さんです。会津を旅すると、義理堅く親切であったかいお人柄のヒトに沢山会うのですが、紀州園のお茶づくりのコンセプトは、芯が強くてあったかい。生産地の茶問屋に任せず、店主自ら合組 ごうぐみ (日本茶の世界ではブレンドのことをこう呼びます)する会津らしいお茶。会津ばんばん茶(会津産そば入り黒豆焙じ茶)、生姜ほうじ茶など、どれも素朴な中にしっかりしたお味が宿っていて、会津のお土産に最適です。

Aizuwakamatsu Nanokamachi. Kishuen is located in the area where strolling around town is fan and there remain many handiwork shops such as Aizu Nuri (Aizu Lacquering), Tofu mochi, Aizu cotton, Karamushi brocade, and hand squeezed sesame oil.

The shop is located near a tourist attraction, Hideyo Noguchi Memorial Museum where Hideyo Noguchi spent his youth. The shop welcomes you in a warm atmosphere like “please have a seat”, “you can put your belongings here”, and “please have some tea”, and allows you to take a few moments to relax during a trip. You might meet a lot of loyal, kind, and warm people when travelling in Aizu and their concept of growing tea is warm and strong-willed. They never rely on tea wholesale store of production area, so it is more typical Aizu tea which is blended (it is called gogumi in the Japanese tea industry) by owner himself. Aizu banban tea (black soybean roasted green tea with soba made in Aizu) and ginger roasted green tea are simple but have solid tastes, and they are all suitable as souvenirs of Aizu.
